Dan’s fertile mind can devise scripts, stages and environments for any occasion. From circuses to puppet shows, Dan’s productions are a wacky mix of music, slapstick, and mummery.  Switching hats from jester to ringmaster, he’s shared stages with mayors, movie stars and punk rockers, creating events-on-demand for schools, public spaces, and festivals of every color and description. Based in Vancouver, B.C., Dan has worked up and down the West Coast since the early ‘80s, custom-building events and workshops with youth, labor and multicultural organizations.  He produces several renowned participatory events in Vancouver, including April 1st’s outrageously silly Fool’s Day Parade, and the annual Alice In Wonderland Tea Party.  As founder (in 1997) and director of “The Carnival Band”, a 30-piece horn and drum orchestra, he’s delivered riotous carnival music to the streets and stages of Canada and Europe.  Dan’s devoted calling is fun-making for all ages.
